On A Lighter Note.....

......I've been with my current job for about -what, five or six weeks - and I think I really enjoy it.  The first two weeks I was travelling in couple of trainings elsewhere in Europe;  got to meet many new people, all of whom seem genuinely nice and...well, genuine.  Now that I've been at the home base for couple of weeks and am getting into the actual work little by little, I feel like I'm doing what I am supposed to do (if I have to work, you know).  Something just feels really right -- it's the same feeling of a big, global happy family that I had with my long term employer before I left that company in spring 2011 -- only this time, I am personally more motivated too as the business we're in aims to cure people and save lives, and thus has a real meaning.

I feel grateful and eager to learn more, and it is wonderful to not have that knot in your stomach when you wake up for work each morning. Very much looking forward to the time when I'm up to full speed and feel more comfortable with my tasks -- and I know that time will come pretty soon again.

We should never, ever hesitate changing jobs (if possible) when we feel that our current work is not satisfying or makes us miserable. It really makes a huge difference to enjoy what you're doing and to be surrounded by positive people.
